A few years ago when I was writing for Examiner, I ended up
on Proven Winners’ radar and was
asked if I was interested in trialing some plants for the next season (um, yes,
please!). I receive a box or two of annuals, perennials, shrubs, and most
recently edibles from PW each May and I try my darnedest to document how these
plants live up to the Buffalo summer.
