2015 Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner Ideas in the Buffalo-Niagara Area

Don’t make mom cook this year for Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 10 – here are a few places in the area you can take her for a special meal for her special day. Some of these restaurants serve brunch, while others serve dinner, so keep that in mind when you’re making reservations.

The Ramada Hotel – located at 2402 N. Forest Rd. in Getzville, the Ramada is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch buffet in their Grand Ballroom. There are two seatings available – 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – and the cost is $21.95 per person, $10.95 for kids 4 to 11 and free for kids under 4. They are also offering Mother’s Day dinner in the Embers Restaurant from 2 to 8 p.m. To make reservations for either, call 716-636-7500.

Glen Iris Inn – located in Letchworth State Park, the Inn is offering a Mother’s Day breakfast buffet with seatings available from 8 to 10:30 a.m. – cost is $12.95 for adults and $6.95 for children. A Mother’s Day dinner will be served from noon to 8 p.m., featuring a special menu of traditional favorites and Glen Iris Inn specialties. Call 585-493-2622 for reservations.

Elma Towne Grille – located at 6650 Clinton St. in Elma, the Grille will be presenting a Mother’s Day buffet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring more than 10 hot dishes plus carved ham, an omelet station, a salad bar, fresh breads and pastries and more. Cost is $17.99 (+ tax and gratuity) for adults, half-price for kids 4 to 8 and free for kids under 4 – call 716-651-4619 for reservations.

Martin House Complex - located at 125 Jewett Pkwy. in Buffalo, the Darwin Martin House is offering Mother’s Day brunch and a tour beginning at 10:30 a.m.; brunch will feature Roasted Tomato Basil Frittata, turkey sausage, herb roasted potatoes, baked French toast, fresh fruit salad, assorted pastries and muffins, coffee, tea, juice, mimosas and bloody marys. Cost for the brunch and tour is $55 for Martin House members, $60 for non-members – make reservations at 716-856-3858.

Brierwood Country Club – located at 5324 Rogers Rd. in Hamburg, Brierwood will offer four seatings for brunch – 10:30 and 11 a.m. and 1 and 1:30 p.m. The buffet will include a ham and roast beef carving station, an omelet station, salad, desserts and more. Cost is $26.95 for adults, $15 for kids 3 to 12 and free for kids under 3 – call 716-648-2700 x. 203 for reservations.

Hyatt Regency Buffalo –located at 2 Fountain Plaza in downtown Buffalo, the Hyatt Regency offers Mother’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Atrium Bistro, featuring an omelet station, pancake and waffle station, carving station, assorted breakfast items, gourmet salads and more. Cost is $34.95 for adults, $20.95 for children, and free for children under 4 (with purchase of an adult buffet) – make reservations at 716-855-4830.

Salvatore’s Italian Gardens – located at 6461 Transit Rd. in Depew, Salvatore’s will offer its signature brunch presentation featuring Eggs Benedict, French toast, pot roast, poached salmon, a children’s buffet,  salads, an omelet station, a carving station and a dessert table. Cost is $31 for adults, $19 for children 5 to 11, $11 for children 3 to 4 and free for children under 3 – call 716-683-7990 for reservations.


Samuel’s Grande Manor – located at 8750 Main St. in Williamsville, Samuel’s will offer a Mother’s Day buffet (brunch or dinner) with seatings between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., featuring carved roast beef, ham and pork tenderloin throughout the day and numerous other entrees for brunch (10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and dinner (2 to 5 p.m.). Cost is $21.95 for adults, $11.95 for kids 5 to 10 and free for kids 4 and under – call 716-634-8425 for reservations.
