A new cocktail festival has popped up in Buffalo: the inaugural
Nickel City Drink festival is happening Wednesday through Sunday, October 12-16,
a combined effort of owners, management and barstaff from a number of
Buffalo-area facilities, including Lloyd Taco Factory, Mes Que, Vera and
Buffalo Proper, and benefitting Crisis Services of Erie County.
The event kicks off with Sacred Bond, the kick-off party on
Wednesday, October 12 from 6-11 p.m. at Town Ballroom, 681 Main St. in downtown
Buffalo. Featuring cocktails, Mad Men-era food from Lloyd, live music and more.
Admission for this 21-and-over event is $5 per person. Additional classes and
happy hour celebrations take place throughout the weekend.
